IditaREAD - Limerick Elementary School, March 23, 2015

Who let the dogs out? Limerick Elementary School students participated in a three-week long IditaREAD Challenge. Each grade level worked together to read 979 books from March 1 to March 20, and raced to the "reading finish line."

The challenge culminated with a school wide assembly presented by Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue. Volunteers talked about the husky breed, Canine Powered Sports and Iditarod equipment. After the assembly, dog teams and their handlers visited classrooms for a meet and greet.

The Siberians were welcomed by the crew at Limerick Elementary School on March 23, 2015
