Success Stories: Our Dogs

On Sunday August 23rd, 2009 Eli found a place to call home with his new gal pal Stanzi.

The head adoption runner decribes the days events:

Hi Everyone:
I wanted to let everyone know that there another successful adoption for TOTTSHR today!

Kendra and I were there at 10:00, and met Stanzi- a very sweet submissive 8 month pup.
Jodi came later with Nik and Eli. While they all met very well and had some play time. They felt like Eli would be more of a fit for Stanzi. Stanzi wasn't a typical husky, but for a pup she was on the lower end of energy, but she could have done well with either.

So I want to congrats to Eli!

His foster mom checked in and reported on August 25th:

Spoke to his new family tonight and my Eli is already SNUGGLING with them! What....the nerve of him! I'm all over here depressed and missin him and he is just fitting right on in:) He is eating, sleeping and cuddling as well as warming up to and getting along with Stanzi (a few scuffles but overall really well). She could not say enough good things about how sweet that boy is, wish I could take the credit but I can't...he is just a big goofy sweetheart!

He did break out of his crate, so I gave her some tips on securing the edges. There was some minor growling around food bowls so we talked about distancing the bowls for a bit and supervising as well as teaching who's is who's. The fence area got fixed today and they are overall thrilled with that fat boy, they are also keeping his name as they think it fits him:) Great job Eli!
